My personal favorite time to visit  the countryside  is either in late spring or throughout the fall when the vines are either just budding and the air is  warm enough to dine al fresco.   Or visit Tuscany  in the fall when the kalidascope of colors infuses with the sundrenched stones to feature the red tinged vines ready for vendemmia.   There are fewer tourists in the fall making that season even more enchanting.
