For thirty years, founder Joyce Falcone has traveled the length of Italy, from the Dolomites to Mt. Etna, the Adriatic to the Mediterranean. She personally visits and vets every hotel, guide, and collaborator we work with, testing the rooms, touring the sites, tasting the wine, and walking the trails herself.

In 2023, we expanded into France with the launch of The Provence Concierge, bringing the same hands-on approach to luxury travel across the Côte d’Azur, Provence, and Paris.

It’s this personal connection to our destinations, and to the people who make them special, that allows us to create a truly customized journey, just for you.

Getting started is simple: contact us to discuss your trip, from flights to accommodations and everything in between — we handle it all.

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll ask for a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer, fully applied toward your total trip cost. From there, we build a customized proposal tailored to your travel dates and length of stay, refining the details together until it’s just right. After you approve the itinerary, you’ll choose from a curated selection of hotels for each destination. We take care of every arrangement and payment on your behalf once your final payment is received.

WHAT DOES FULL SERVICE CUSTOMIZED VACATION PLANNING ENTAIL?

As your Destination Management Company, we handle every arrangement to make your trip easy and worry-free, from airport and train station meet-and-greets, 4- and 5-star accommodations, English-speaking drivers, licensed historic guides, regional cooking lessons, winery tours, and more. You choose the experiences that interest you, and we build a custom trip around your budget, reserving every activity and private transfer along the way.

Our vacations are sold as a complete package. Once under contract, we draft a proposal and refine it together until it’s exactly right. From there, your only task is choosing your hotels from our curated suggestions — we take care of everything else, including your flights. Before departure, you’ll receive the Axus Travel App with all of your vacation documents in one place.

This level of planning takes real time and care, which is why full-service trip design is reserved for clients whose hotel reservations are part of their itinerary with us.

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY AIR RESERVATIONS?

Absolutely! We offer airline ticket booking as part of our full-service travel planning. We can also guide you on the best airports to use based on your destination and itinerary.

CAN YOU HELP ME PLAN A ONE DAY SIGHTSEEING OR ONE NIGHT ACCOMMODATION OR AN CRUISE SHORE EXCURSION?

The Italian Concierge requires a minimum fee for trip planning which is best suited to vacations of 7-day duration or longer.

WE ALREADY HAVE OUR HOTELS RESERVED; CAN YOU HELP US WITH THE REMAINDER OF OUR DETAILS?

It takes a lot of work to plan and follow your itinerary. Due to the amount of time involved, we prefer to orchestrate the entire itinerary which includes the hotel reservations, and do not accept assignments where only the activities and logistics are requested. 

DO YOU RENT VILLAS?

Yes, we can assist you with your villa search in featured areas such as Tuscany Countryside, Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Sicily, Puglia and beyond. Contact us to discuss what options best suit your reunion group and budget.

DO YOU PLAN BUSINESS INCENTIVE CORPORATE TRIPS and MULTIGENERATIONAL FAMILY VILLA RENTALS?

Absolutely, we can plan any size group celebration in Italy for you such as business incentive corporate trips and conferences, as well as multigenerational family villa rentals. These exclusive group experiences can be escorted or self-directed – it’s entirely up to you.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Services commence with a signed contract and non-refundable retainer which will be applied 100% towards your full service, customized itinerary.

WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

There are three payments to our custom vacation design process:

1) first non-refundable retainer;

2) second deposit, and;

3) final payment invoiced 60 days before your departure.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We prefer certified checks and bank wires. However, we do accept all major credit cards.

DO YOU PROVIDE A BREAKDOWN OF COSTS?

Our custom vacations are sold in a package per group / per person / per couple, we do not provide cost breakdowns.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRIP PLANNING FEE?

To take advantage of our expertise, we charge a planning fee.  The fee is applied towards your total. The trip planning fee is based on the length of stay and number of travelers in your request.

WHAT IS AN IDEAL BUDGET FOR PLANNING AN ENTRY LEVEL LUXURY TRIP?

We design a luxurious experience around a thoughtful mix of 4- and 5-star hotels, paired with your preferred mode of transportation — whether that’s a private driver or high-speed rail. We’ll also layer in activities like private licensed tour guides, hiking excursions, winery tours, and cooking lessons.

To get started, book a consultation call with us. We’ll walk through what we need to tailor the trip to you, and from there, payment is made in three installments.

Your total cost depends on the Scope of Work, which includes details like:

• Number of days in Italy
• Mode of transportation
• Hotel and room type
• Activities included
• Number of historic guides
• Museums and additional tickets

Once we’ve defined the Scope of Work together, we’ll send you a non-binding estimate.

WHEN SHOULD WE START PLANNING OUR TRIP?

• Villa rental – One year in advance or more

• Hotels – Ideally 10 months prior depending on region & number of rooms

• Amalfi Coast – Early December
