Ho Amato Tutto

“e se mi chiedi in questa vita cosa ho fatto…
ti risponderò: ho amato tutto.”

We found those words painted on a sun-yellow terracotta urn, spilling over with hot-pink flowers, propped against a stone wall in Marzamemi — one of Sicily’s most quietly beautiful fishing villages. It is a line from Tosca. It is also, without exaggeration, the philosophy behind every corporate incentive program we design at Italian Concierge Corporate DMC.

If you asked your attendees, months after they’ve returned to their desks and their quarterly reviews, what they remember — it won’t be the PowerPoints. It will be that lunch. That table. That light.

The table stretched long and white beneath a canopy of woven reed, the kind of shade that filters the Sicilian sun into something golden and forgiving. Blue hand-blown glasses caught the light. The Ionian Sea — impossibly blue, almost theatrical — was just beyond the terrace.

Your group is seated. They arrived that morning from different cities, different divisions, different levels of the organization. By the time the first plate arrives — a platter of tonno (bluefin tuna) and pesce spada (swordfish), both pulled from these very waters within the last 24 hours — something has already shifted. The conversation is different here. Easier. Warmer.

Poured alongside the fish: a wine made from Zibibbo, the ancient Muscat grape that Phoenician traders carried to Sicily thousands of years ago. The sommelier explains this. Someone asks a question. Then another. The ancient Greeks colonized this coastline. The Arabs brought citrus and couscous. The Normans arrived next. Layer after layer of civilization, all of it still visible, still edible, still poured into a glass.

This is how the best business conversations begin — not in a conference room, but at a long table in the shade, with great food, a remarkable wine, and a story worth telling.

Here is what the group seated at that table does not see, and is never meant to:

They don’t see the months of preparation that preceded this lunch — the site visits, the vendor negotiations, the logistics mapping, the dietary questionnaire cross-referenced with the menu, the contingency plan for the afternoon if the weather turns.

They don’t see the early morning calls to confirm the fish catch was sufficient for a group this size. They don’t see the coordination between our on-the-ground team, the restaurant owner, the private coach, and the local guide who has spent decades making sure that when visitors arrive, Marzamemi reveals itself at exactly the right pace.

They don’t see the months of pre-trip planning, the customs documentation, the hotel room block negotiations, the pre-arrival welcome packages, the curated gift that references something uniquely this place rather than something purchased in an airport.

That invisibility is intentional. It is, in fact, the craft.

The role of a Destination Management Company is to build a stage so well-constructed that no one notices it is a stage at all. The guests simply feel lucky. Transported. Grateful.

And that gratitude is the whole point. A well-designed incentive program tells your top performers something a bonus check cannot: we thought about you. We put you somewhere extraordinary. We know who you are.

Italy does not need to try. That is what makes it so powerful as an incentive destination.

The food is extraordinary without being performative. The history is everywhere — embedded in the walls, poured into the wine, carved above the doorways. The beauty is not manufactured for tourists; it was here long before tourism existed and will outlast it. Your group arrives and is immediately — helplessly — present. Phones go face-down. Eyes go up.

Sicily in particular carries a depth that rewards the curious. It is not a postcard Italy. It is layered, complex, and astonishingly alive — from the ancient Greek temples at Agrigento to the Baroque excesses of Ragusa Ibla, from the salt flats of Marsala to this small corner of Marzamemi, where a fishing village has been doing roughly the same thing for a thousand years and doing it beautifully.

France, for its part, offers its own irreplaceable qualities — the Côte d’Azur, Provence, Champagne, the Loire Valley — and we design with the same depth of local knowledge and partnership. But today, we are in Sicily.

We are a US-based Destination Management Company specializing in Italy and France for corporate incentive travel, executive groups, and VIP programs. We are not a travel agency. We are the team on the ground and behind the scenes — the ones who know which table at which trattoria, which port for a private boat at sunset, which Baroque palazzo can be unlocked after hours for a gala dinner that no one will ever forget.

Our founder, Joyce Falcone, has been named an 18-consecutive-year Travel + Leisure “A-List” Italy specialist — one of the most rigorous and respected designations in luxury travel, awarded annually based on client feedback and expertise. That recognition is not a logo. It is the result of three decades of relationships, site visits, programs executed, and problems quietly solved before anyone at the table knew there was a problem to solve.

We are enterprise-compliant, fully insured ($5M cyber and liability coverage), and experienced in the procurement requirements of Fortune 500 companies and their incentive houses.

But more than any of that — we love what we do.

If you asked us what we’ve done in this work, we would answer the same way as that inscription on the pottery in Marzamemi: we loved all of it. The planning, the partnerships, the programs, the moments when a group of strangers becomes — just for a few days — something that feels like a community.

Italian Concierge Corporate DMC works with corporate clients, incentive houses, and meeting planners to create fully customized programs in Italy and France — from intimate executive retreats to full-scale incentive programs of 100+.
