Elton John Rocks Pompeii

Elton John Rocks Pompeii

An ancient Roman theater, a rock legend and his piano. Last night, Elton John performed a historical concert inside the Roman amphitheater of Pompeii. Along with his band, the British superstar performed a 2 hour concert in front of sold out crowd.

As part of his “Wonderful Crazy Night” Tour, Sir Elton and his band rocked out inside the ancient venue, playing most of his classic hits including “Tiny Dancer,” “Rocket Man,” “Candle in the wind,” “Levon,” and “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”

After the first hour of acoustic play, the crowd rose to its feet to enjoy the last few hits, “Saturday Night’s Alright” and “Crocodile Rock.”

Elton will play one more show in Italy, much to his fan’s delight.  On Friday July 15, he will perform in Piazza Colbert a Barolo in Piedmont.   Stay tuned to the Italian Concierge for the latest concerts and cultural events in Italia!
