In November 2017, a new foodie exposition area opened up outside of the northern Italian city of Bologna. In just a short taxi ride from the city center, you can spend the day learning about and tasting Italian food products, see the production process, and imbibe. For those arriving via mass transit, there is a shuttle from the Bologna airport and train station, running every 30 minutes.
Often overlooked for the more ritzier areas of Taormina or Siracusa, The Val di Noto offers an authentic Sicilian experience and sits within arms-reach of the Baroque towns of Modica, Ragusa, Ispica, and Siracusa.
Out of the countless reasons to visit Venice, here is yet another to add to the list: La Biennale. Occurring every two years, this contemporary art show transforms the city into an art lover’s paradise. Running from May 13th to November 26, this year’s show “Viva Arte Viva,” marked the 57th exhibition.
